Fotowettbewerb

  5. Greetings dear Anna,

These are some wonderful examples that you have presented us.

I particularly like the first and the second, however I feel that with the third image you added too many different layers, causing the textures to be lost, since they are fighting each other.

As for the second one, I think a little dodge and burn would have helped increase the dynamic range, while the first image is the best of the three.

It is almost like an illustration or hand coloured photograph. The colours and mood are just wonderful.

    Warmest regards

  6. Dear Anna,

I had just visited Alice's blog again and read your very extensive and especially insightful comment you had left and simply wanted to tell you that it was not only a pleasure to read, it spoke of honesty. I agree with your observations regarding my contribution. Had I possible known earlier about Alice's contest, I would have at least tried to capture a landscape, but still it would not have any snow in it. In the end I just wanted to share my process.

For me it was a difficult decision between you and my friend Christiane. Hers has much poetry but with your, the branch made me engaged into the picture, making me connect with it. Christiane's beautiful pastoral winter landscape was mostly passive.

It will be interesting to see if the two of you end up i a tie.

I looked at your other blog and fell in love since the heart, for very personal reasons is very dear to me.

I was unable to locate your email address showing on your blog so I am sorry for leaving my thoughts here.

    Warmest regards,
    Egmont
